BEATRICE J. DROUHIN is a French artist who lives in Westchester NY.
Beatrice spent her youth surrounded by a family of artists. After her business studies and launch of her own start up culinary business, she decided to enrol at the Fine Arts School in Dijon, France, where she studies various painting techniques.
Since she has moved with her family to New York in 2005, she decides to devote herself entirely to her painting. Beatrice paints with acrylics and “impasto” as well as with a palette knife.
She loves warm colors with a special fondness for red and yellow.
Women are regular subjects of her paintings, and she gets her inspirations from her several travels in Africa.
