Marguerite Wibaux

Marguerite Wibaux is an emerging painter and sculptor.

Marguerite Wibaux was immersed into fine art from the earliest age, growing up in Rome, surrounded by an art historian grandmother and an artist mother. Renaissance and Baroque imprinted her creative mind.

Nevertheless, she first chose a conventional path : brilliant student, she graduated from  HEC Paris, and then worked for 10 years at Mazarine, the leading communication agency for luxury and fashion brands. It’s only when arriving in the US that she turned a life-long passion into a full-time occupation.

From her detour through advertising and fashion, Marguerite sharpened her eye for composition and bold images. These past experiences combined with her love for Italian classical art translate into her work : intense, emotional, exuberant.

For Together We Art, Marguerite is presenting an exclusive series of paintings that are at the crossroad between abstraction and architecture scapes. Each image is a visual poem, that starts from a real place, and then, by the power of imagination, translates into an inner feeling. Perspective participates in creating a perfectly balanced world, only to be disrupted by the oniric colors. Marguerite Wibaux thinks of each of her paintings as a happy space in which she wants to be. This series of works was exhibited in Marguerite Wibaux's solo show at the French Cultural Center in Boston in 2019.

Marguerite Wibaux participates in various group shows in New York, Paris and Milan, and is preparing for a solo show in New York in 2021.
