Justin Bradshaw was born in London. He studied painting in London after which he began to work on commission first in England and then in Rome after moving there in 1995. The first few years in the Italian capital were spent painting Roman scenes in watercolour and building up a client base until his first exhibition in the year 2000 at the Sala Margana gallery in central Rome. Since then he has held more than 15 exhibitions and participated in several group exhibitions while also completing portraits and other commissions for private clients. Since 2019 he has been based in his studio in the countryside of Northern Lazio.
