How does LP4Y's action affect you, and how does the artwork offered resonate with the project ?
LP4Y’s work resonates deeply with my artistic practice, which places human stories, vulnerability and resilience at the heart of my work. I am particularly touched by the way LP4Y supports young people facing exclusion, helping them regain confidence, build their own path and find their place in society.
My collages are made exclusively from fragments of newspaper. I tear, cut and recompose these fragments to create new images and narratives, transforming pieces of the world around us into something personal and meaningful. This process echoes the idea of leaving a mark and, at the same time, of rebuilding and creating something new from what already exists.
The artwork I am offering resonates with the theme Imprints through this idea of traces, transformation and human resilience. Just as each newspaper fragment carries a trace of a shared reality, each young person carries their own story, experiences and hopes. Through the collage, these fragments come together to form a new whole—an image of possibility, connection and renewal.
